It is late, and the midnight moon shines brightly. Yang drives on her motorcycle down the empty highway. She thinks she has all the space she needs, but something unexpected comes into sight.

A girl with bright purple eyes and purple hair tied in twin tails appears in front of her. Yang makes a sharp U-turn to stop before hitting her. Dismounting the bike, Yang slowly walks towards the girl, but keeps her guard up, just in case.

“Are you my opponent?” The girl asks.

Yang looks at her, confused. “Why should I answer that?”

The girl bobs her head from side to side. “My name is Sophie, and I believe we are supposed to fight.”

Yang doesn’t know how to respond at first. However, taking another look at her, she feels a power that could match, or maybe surpass, her own. “Well, Sophie,” she replies, stretching out her hands to load her arm guns, “let’s see what you got!”

Sophie nods as she flips, landing in a fighting stance.

Its hand-to-hand combat!

FIGHT!

Yang makes the first move. She jumps into the air and fires a few shotgun rounds.

Sophie dodges every incoming shot at lightning speed. It isn’t long before the two clash fists.

The two hold out, putting pressure before they jump back. The two throw rapid kicks and punches at each other. The are evenly matched, every blow cancelling each other out.

Sophie executed a different maneuver. “Shining cut!” She waves her fists to the side, springing a small amount of energy that forms a cut.

Yang does a backflip to avoid the deadly move, only to leave herself open for an attack.

Sophie gains the upper hand, beginning in a storm of kicks and punches that overwhelm Yang. At least one blow is able to land before she is kicked away. Sophie jumps into the air and spreads her limbs, forming a cross. “PIece blast!” A small orb appears, unleashing a energy beam.

Yang unleashes a storm of bullets at her foe, pushing the beam back. However, she runs out of bullets too soon. With the beam coming at her, Yang dodges just a split second before it can touch her. During this, she took her chance to reload her arm barrels with new shells.

Rearmed, Yang takes the chance to attack. She fires a round on the ground, propelling her towards Sophie with fists clenched, ready for contact.

Sophie spots the attack. “Eagle dive!” She backflips before plunging to her.

The two collide, their attacks equally matched.  

“Ack!” Sophie realizes she is wide open as Yang fires a shell at her. She takes the hit, which knocks her back.

Yang unleashes a whole load of shots at her opponent. Every shot collides with Sophie. As she hits the ground, the storm of bullets continues until Yang has run out.

Yang lands just a few feet away. She stands at the ready, but sees Sophie prone, with no energy left. She think it is finally over….

Yang suddenly feels a strong force coming from Sophie. She looks, only to see a white aura surrounding her.

Sophie rises and is on the offencive.

Yang tries to block the attack, but it impact is too much.

Sophie unleashes a barrage of punches too fast to counter. “THIS IS IT!” Sophie fires an energy beam, launching Yang far. “Watch me run through the wind!” She flies right at her to deliver the final blow. “Shadow moment!” With one punch, she launches Yang straight back to the ground.

Sophie turns around, walking away from the battlefield. “It is done….”
